Johnny attended and graduated from the University of Guelph in 2011 and is currently living in Kitchener working as a teacher for the Waterloo Region District School Board. His coaching philosophy is very simple – your success as an athlete comes from the level of effort you’re willing to put into your training and game. However, you should always be having fun, learning and enjoying yourself in any sport you play or train for. Johnny is a very competitive coach but the most important thing to him is to see his team develop and grow together and become better athletes overall. Johnny will be going into his 3rd year coaching with the Jr. Gryphons and is looking to build on last year’s successful season that ended with a Bronze medal at Div 2 Nationals.
