U17 Girls Ranked 2nd in Ontario

Following their bronze medal win at the U17 Challenge Cup in December, our U17 Girls team is now ranked 2nd in the province. This weekend, they will travel to the first ever Ontario-Quebec Series at the University of Ottawa. This prestigious tournament is open to the top 4 teams from Ontario, top 3 teams from Quebec, and the top teams from Alberta and Manitoba will also be in attendance.

“This team is built for success. They play with grit, resiliency, and determination which has helped them win a medal at every tournament they have competed in and climb to 2nd place in Ontario at the Premiere level. This weekend the U17 Jr Gryphons are competing at the first ever Ontario-Quebec series at the University of Ottawa. We are looking to medal at this event in order to help us carry momentum and confidence into the remainder of our season. We aim to medal at both Provincials and Nationals as well. I believe in all of my players and I have full confidence they will be able to compete with the best in the country this weekend. I look forward to seeing them develop and grow.” – Coach Paul Podstawka

We wish the best of luck to the U17 Girls Jr.Gryphons as they head into the Ontario-Quebec Series this Saturday, January 28th.
